Please join us for any service – just come. All ages, any time.

  • On the first Friday, services begin at 7 pm and are followed by a fabulous Potluck Supper.
  • The rest of the Fridays (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th) begin at 7:30 pm.
  • July and August:  Friday evening services begin at 7 pm; weather permitting, we meet outside on our Patio overlooking the lawn and woods.
  • Dress for all Friday evenings is nice casual.
  • Tot Shabbat
Join us for our always-popular Tot Shabbat, a special service for children in preschool through grade 2 led by Rabbi Steiner.  Tot Shabbat is held one Friday evening a month, beginning with a service and ending with Shabbat Pizza Dinner and special child friendly Oneg Shabbat dessert!  This hour service is especially designed with our youngest ones (pre-readers) in mind.  Enjoy musical prayer, dancing with the Torah, and a Shabbat story.  If you attend the 5 pm service, remain afterwards for a Pizza Dinner (reservations requested).

Here are some of the many ways we celebrate Shabbat on Saturday morning.  Check the Temple calendar for specific schedule:

  • Shabbat Service:  Celebrated when there is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
  • Torah Study:  Twice a month, join Rabbi Steiner as together we explore the Torah portion of the week. All are welcome, no prior experience required.
  • Rosh Chodesh:  Experience the rituals and spirituality of Rosh Chodesh, which marks the beginning of the new month.  Lead by our Director of Lifelong Learning, Sara Losch.
  • Shabbat Yoga:  Barnert leader and yoga instructor, Rachel Dewan, guides our yoga group in exploration of the Torah portion with peaceful movement.
