The Barnert Temple Sisterhood is about sharing, spirituality, service and friendship. We are comprised of smart, talented, insightful women of all stages, backgrounds and interests. Sisterhood raises funds (tzedakah) to support Barnert Temple and charitable causes in the community. We also offer many diverse programs throughout the year that support:
Making Connections:
Connecting with each other and those who need our help.
Education:
Offering programs that enrich our lives and broaden our understanding and perspectives. Our programming focuses on professional and personal growth and development.
Social Action:
Continuing Sisterhood’s rich tradition of tzedakah and tikkun olam both locally and globally.
Socializing:
Gathering together to enjoy each other’s company and develop friendships.
