THE ARTIST | ILYA KLIMOV

Ilya Klimov, a Moscow native, launched his creative journey after graduating from the Moscow Art School and Polygraphic University of Moscow with a degree in Graphic Design.  His illustrious publishing career spanned roles as Artistic Director for prominent international titles, including GQ, Sports Illustrated, Paris Match, and Marie Claire.  Today, Ilya dedicates himself to artistic photography.

"Why black and white photography?  Our world's intricate beauty often overwhelms our senses.  Amidst vibrant hues, nuances can fade.  Black and white photography distills the essence, focusing attention, and creating a refined aesthetic.  Paradoxically, this monochromatic medium reveals life's rich tapestry - infinite halftones, shades, and untold stories waiting to be uncovered."
