Barnert Temple's High HolIDays Ticket Policy

Members

There is no fee for members, their children (including adult children), and their parents.

Each Barnert member will receive one white ticket/adult member.  (Dependent children do not require or receive tickets.)  A white ticket is for seating in the Sanctuary or Social Hall, until the space is full.

  • Members can receive additional white tickets for immediate family, including adult children and parents.  (College-aged children of members do not need tickets.)  There is no fee for these tickets.
  • Guest tickets for other family members are $54 each.  These will also be white tickets.
  • Family members who belong to another synagogue may receive complimentary white tickets by providing the Office with a letter from their home synagogue indicating they are members in good standing.

Non-Members

  • Non-member tickets for those attending for the first or second year(s) are complimentary.
  • Non-member tickets for those attending for more than two years, or former congregants, cost $500/adult ticket and $100/child under 18 year.  (This reflects a policy in effect for the last several years, and has been - and will continue to be - communicated via the letter that accompanies the ticket.)
  • All non-members receive a blue ticket for seating in the Library or Youth Lounge.
  • Non-members' children are welcome to attend and worship in our main service and require a ticket.
  • A ticket is required for all High Holiday worship services, including Yizkor.
  • Tickets for non-members include the invitation to participate in our worship year-round: Sukkot and Simchat Torah, Shabbat, and all of our sacred celebrations.  We welcome your participation beyond the High Holidays!
