How can I find meaning or connect more deeply in Jewish worship?

How do our prayers shape a conversation with God and our ancestors who offered these prayers before us?

How can learning about the meaning and language of our prayers help deepen my own experience with prayer, whether or not I believe in God?

Join Rabbi Steiner for a five-session course to delve into these kinds of questions.  We'll learn about the evolution of our worship/services, reflect on the many meanings of the language in prayers, and explore our own personal experiences with prayer.

This class is for those who are newer to the experience or study of Jewish prayer.  It will be a space for asking and offering non-judgmental questions and answers.

Our class is designed for in person, face to face interaction.
We will use our prayer book as a “text book” in addition to supplemental printed materials and our group conversations.
