Barnert Temple offers you a uniquely warm, spiritual yet modern facility that can easily meet your needs for your next special event. 	THE BERTRAM IRVING COHEN FAMILY SANCTUARY Capacity: Seats Approx. 160 (Additional seating available) Colorful stained glass, beautiful skylights, high ceilings, modern design with a historic touch - the sanctuary offers you all ths and more. If you are planning a life-cycle event, like a wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or Baby Naming, our sanctuary is a great choice for you. While our sanctuary easily seats 160 (with room for additional seating), it still maintains a sense of intimacy for your special event.  If you need seating for more than 160 guests, the rear partition can be opened to accommodate additional chairs. 	THE PHILIP B. LOWY SOCIAL HALL Room Size: 60' X 50' (Includes a 39' X 19' Dance Floor)* Capacity: Seats 180 Comfortably, Maximum Capacity 220 Planning a formal sit-down event? Looking for a space that lets YOU determine the look and feel of your event? The Barnert Temple Social Hall may be your answer. Our Social Hall is adjacent to the Sanctuary and next to the main lobby and library, making it easy for your guests to move from a service to the party.  Our large room offers high ceilings and glass windows along one side to give you a spacious, open feeling for your event. The clean lines and modern design of the room allow you, the organizer, to select the colors, themes and styles that work for you and your special event.  Our fully-equipped, on-site kitchen facilities make it easy for your caterer to meet your needs.  Use your imagination and our Social Hall and make your special event a reality! 	OUTDOOR PATIO (NEXT TO SOCIAL HALL) Room Size: 30' X 62' Capacity: Seats 40 Comfortably (May be used with tent) Need a little more space than our Social Hall offers?  Just looking to add an outdoor element to your event?  Want to give the "younger set" their own space to hang out and socialize?  Then consider the Social Hall's adjoining patio.  The area surrounding our outdoor patio is beautifully wooded to offer your guests a sense of privacy and nature.  This space can also be tented (free-standing tent only) to add extra protection from the elements or to let you define the look and feel of this area for your event.  Don't overlook the option of our patio when planning your next event! 	THE DARYL & STEVEN ROTH FAMILY LIBRARY Room Size: 29' x 28' Capacity: Seats 40  Comfortably (Can accommodate up to 50 depending on food-service set-up) The Barnert Temple library is a great choice for a Shabbat dinner, special luncheon or smaller gathering. With a capacity of 40-50 people when seated (70 without tables), you can offer your guests a comfortable and intimate space to both dine and socialize. The large, decorative south-facing window offers soft lighting and a lovely view of the outdoors to compliment your event. The full, on-site kitchen makes our facility an easy choice for you and your caterer.  The clean, modern design of the room allows you to create whatever look and feel you want for your event. 	THE GUTENSTEIN FAMILY MAIN LOBBY Room Size: 62' X 22' The lobby area at Barnert Temple is central to our Sanctuary, Social Hall and Library. For this reason, it is typically used for pre-function events, such as cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and photo displays, etc. The location of our lobby, relative to the other rooms at Barnert Temple, makes it easy for your guests to transition from one portion of your event to the next. Our lobby is adorned with historic elements from Barnert Temple's 160 year history, offering your guests a beautiful and interesting space to enjoy themselves while they socialize.
