Hold Onto Your Hard Hats! Changes Just Keep Coming!
The Website and Technology committee have been hard at work upgrading the technological infrastructure at Barnert Temple. New computers, new software, new wiring are just a few of the changes that have been made to help our clergy and staff work more effectively and efficiently.
This fall, work will begin on completley redesigning our Temple's website. The changes to our website won't be seen until the early part of 2011; however, members of our Temple will be working hard for months to make our website a tool for engaging and connecting our community!

Who We Are & What We Do
The Internet is an amazing resource that we have come to depend on. It puts a wealth of information at your fingertips, and allows you to find what you need when you need it.
The Barnert Temple website is intended to be a tool for both current and prospective members. Its purpose is to put information about our Temple, congregation and community at your fingertips. The website committee is responsible for developing and maintaining a user-friendly and relevant website that reflects the values and activities at Barnert. Our hope is to make it easy for people to stay up-to-date on happenings at Barnert and to help prospective members learn a bit about who we are and what we do.
As our picture indicates, our website is undergoing some major renovations. The goals of our renovation are to:
- expand the content of our site to create a "real" resource for our members
- improve the quality and timeliness of our content so information is up-to-date and relevant
- make navigating our site more intuitive so users can easily find what they are looking for
- make our website reflect our mission, vision, values and overall personality
Many changes and updates have already been implemented (see list to the right), but many more are on the way. We encourage you to visit our site frequently. You will be pleasantly surprised. We also ask for your patience as we introduce changes to our site. It's hard to make major changes without a little mess along the way!
